“In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities, but in the expert’s there are few” ― Shunryu Suzuki

Welcome to this new home and sound garden! I have been wanting to invite you over here for a while but sometimes it’s the ideas I am most called to that are challenging to start. What is with that procrastination? Do you experience that too? Here’s to changing the pattern and letting our creativity and follow through flourish.
For those of you who have been around in the times of Livejournal (I was on there 2003-2006), that was a magical connector for me. I met so many folks through our shared diary entries on there. Some of the first artists I connected with and had exhibitions with at my shop + gallery, Magic Pony, came from LJ relationships.
Substack feels very much connected to the spirit of that format and I’m excited to get weird, creative and share more of my inspirations personal journey here. What I plan to create is a Kiko Sounds and Kikospace collage that will include sound meditations and also visual/audio inspirations from musicians, artists, designers, poets, writers, mystics and teachers. As I work closely with plant medicine, the cycles of the moon and tarot, I will share more from those mystical sources.
I also want to let this platform be a way to communicate more of my personal path. Both in the present moment and also sharing more of my past journeys with illness, addiction, burnout and the continuing path I am on of accountability, honesty, forgiveness, healing and exploring consciousness through loving awareness. There’s many things I write about privately that haven’t found a home yet, and this feels like where they are wanting to live.
This post is open to everyone and I will continue to offer some public posts, but most posts will be under a paywall so that we have more freedom in privacy and connection. This is also a platform that will be ad free/sponsorship etc free so the offering of a subscription is a beautiful way to support me and grow our community. If you are not able at this time to fund a subscription but feel this would be a supportive resource, please reach out and I will gift you one.
I would love it if you shared below to let me know a little about you and also what you’d most like to see planted in this garden.
